Do you know the pile driving machine? It is a machine that drives piles deep into the ground when building large buildings and foundations for dike. In Japan during the period of high economic growth, vibration and noise caused by pile driving became a major social problem.

Giken Seisakusho Co., Ltd., a development-type company in Kochi City, has overturned the common sense of pile driving machines and created vibration-free and noise-free "injection technology". In 1975, we invented the Silent PilerTM, a pile injection and pulling machine, and succeeded in practical application for the first time in the world. In recent years, we have also contributed to the construction of disaster prevention infrastructure that can withstand disasters such as earthquakes, tsunamis, and floods around the world.

There is a research and exhibition facility in Akaoka-cho, Konan City that unravels the half-century history of such a only one company.

It is divided into three major areas: a demonstration exhibition hall, a creative hall (world pile driving machine museum), and a research building. Under the concept of "Seeing is not at first glance", actual machines developed so far are exhibited and the construction site using press-in technology is reproduced on a real scale. You can also see the real "implant structure" formed by the injected piles up close. It is a content that everyone can enjoy learning, transcending language and cultural barriers. Why don't you visit us once?
