Prefectural Makino Botanical Garden

A botanical garden that receives the name of Dr. Tomitaro Makino, a world-famous botanical taxonomist from Kochi Prefecture. A botanical garden that attracts worldwide attention for a facility that honors his achievements. Many of the plants he discovered are grown and impressive. It is also close to Godaisan Chikurin-ji Temple, one of the 88 sacred sites in Shikoku.
