Summer festival, Tosa Akaoka Ekin Festival.
A long time ago, Akaoka is a town where the Kano school painter belonging to the Tosa clan was involved in a fake case, was expelled from the castle, and moved to the castle.
A fantastic night festival that stands at the eaves of the old highway with a number of paintings by the painter Kinzo, left in this town, which flourished as a key point on the highway, illuminating only the swaying flames of Japanese candles.
Please enjoy the "red", one of the styles of the painter Kinzo, Odorodoshi.
In the evening, there is also a Kabuki performance (Bentenza) by a tradition party where volunteers from the town gathered.
Various events will be held, such as the opening of the town's sake brewery Takagi Sake Brewery “Toyono Ume” and a night shop.
