Teyu fishing port and bouncing bridge

The next visit is Teyu Port. I write when I hold my hand and read "Y". There are two rare things to see here.
The first is known as a bouncing bridge. The bridge over the entrance of the port rises every hour.
The second is the port itself. In 1653, it was completed by Kenzan Nonaka, the elder of the Tosa clan, as Japan's first full-scale "drilling port".
In addition, its scale is the largest in the early Edo period, and it is written in the "Japan Port Construction History" at about 112 meters north-south and about 49 meters east-west.
This port has been loved by people as a historical heritage and as a representative landscape of hometown.

Historic walk around Akaoka-cho, Konan City

On the way to Akaokacho, we recommend a roadside station unique to the morning.
In summer, go to Yasuragi City next to Ya Sea Park, which is full of sea bathing.
In the fruitful autumn ease city, there are many vegetables and fruits grown in Yasu-cho. Please find vegetables and fruits that you have not seen much.

Ekinzo

From the parking lot in Akaokacho, while walking along the old highway is "Ekinzo".
Here, there is a folding screen painting left by the Kano school painter "Kinzo", who holds the Tosa clan.

Every summer, it seems that he went out to the eaves to serve as sun-dried, and the remnants of the "Ekin Festival".
It is here Ekinzo that was made to preserve such folding screens firmly.

Lunch "Tosao Shoten" at a local restaurant

After passing the parking lot in Akaokacho, "Tosao Shoten" is a shop with a friendly mother and a lively father (chikin to say in Kochi style). Here you can taste Kochi's famous B-class gourmet Chunichi.
A shop full of the charm of the town. There is a shop in front and a restaurant in the back.
Recommended are the town's soul food "Chunichi Soba" and "Crimen Okoge". Please also enjoy "Nira Egg Yaki" using a special leek from Konan City.
