Introduction of many local menus in Mercure Kochi Tosa Resort & Spa
All meals are served in a buffet style. The main dish is a common menu of 10 series Mercure hotels. In addition to a common menu of peace of mind, we also offer a local menu of the land that incorporates local colors. Please enjoy dishes that express the characteristics of the land, such as ingredients, cooking methods, and seasoning.
From April 1st, the creative anpan "Anparedo" will be available! Please make "My own Anpan" with your favorite arrangements such as bean paste, whipped cream, shiratama dumplings, butter, and soft serve in the venue.

Creative Anpan [Breakfast Menu]
We can see you from breakfast on April 1st. Creative Anpan 'Anparedo'. Please make your original anpan and enjoy it.

Tosa's specialty bonito taki [dinner menu]
Kochi Prefecture is famous for its single fishing of bonito (katsuo). It is also actively landed in Kyushu, Wakayama, and Shizuoka where the Kuroshio Current flows.
Speaking of Kochi's representative bonito dishes, it's still tataki.
Tosa style is eaten with sliced garlic sandwiched between thickly cut tataki and soy sauce (ponzu) squeezed from yunosu (Yunosu: Yuzu juice) with soy sauce (ponzu).

Tosa's famous Tosa maki [Dinner Menu]
A simple but delicious roll sushi. The inside of it is bonito. Locally, depending on the shop, there are various variations such as tataki or sashimi, but garlic is indispensable.
Please try Tosa's famous Tosa volume.

Ginger grilled pork [dinner menu]
Ginger grilled pork, which is very popular among all generations. One of the most notable local ingredients is ginger.
Kochi has the highest yield of ginger in Japan (*1). Ginger grilled pork, of course, is from Kochi Prefecture.
It is a dish that you want to taste the taste of ginger such as spicy, umami, and freshness.

Nirachijimi [Dinner Menu]
Chijimi ingredients are made from Kochi Prefecture. This is also the largest yield in Japan, and the national market share accounts for about 1/4 (*2). We use plenty of fragrant fresh nera unique to the production area. Please enjoy the flavor of nila.

Yuzuan-yaki of Shiira [Dinner Menu]
Shiira pottery that is often taken in Kochi Prefecture. It is also famous as a fish that is strong and fun to catch for those who fish by boat.
With a pale taste, Yuzu-an has a good impact and goes well with white rice.
When you go to Hawaii, you will be lined up in a restaurant as a high-class fish called "Mahimahi". It is common for large bodies to be made into steak or steamed.
At the hotel, we offer it in Japanese-style pottery with a slice of size that is easy to eat.
It is delicious as it is, but you can enjoy changes in taste by wearing mayonnaise or dressing.

Shibushabu of Shimanto Pork (Shimanto Pork) [Dinner Menu]
In order to fully enjoy the umami of Kochi's brand pork Shimanto pork (Shimanto pork), it is served with shabu-shabu instead of ginger grilled. A gem that you want to taste not only the umami of meat but also the umami of fat.
The saucer and ponzu are delicious, but it is recommended that you can feel the umami of pork even if you eat it simply with salt.

Bonito nookke-don, pickled bonito chazuke [breakfast menu]
In response to the voice of wanting to eat bonito for breakfast, we prepared bonito nookkedon. Unlike tataki at night, it is sliced thinly so that it goes well with bowls and chazuke. Please take this product with plenty of slices of bonito on white rice. Add a special soup stock to make bonito dashi chazuke. This also stimulates appetite in the morning.

Freshly boiled yuzu with chicken wings [breakfast menu]
Chicken Tebamoto is stewed with rich aroma of yuzu. As the name suggests, you can eat it from the morning with a refreshing seasoning.

Natataki Tosa's herbs [Breakfast Menu]
Kochi Prefecture has the highest shipment volume in Japan during the winter and spring. (※3)
Eggplant is a specialty vegetable representing Kochi Prefecture. It is also grown a lot in greenhouses around the hotel.
There are various ways to eat, but we offer it as one of the simplest ways to eat eggplant, Tataki.
